The Salvation Army in Wisconsin has launched a $5 million campaign to rebuild homes in Southeast Asia which were destroyed by December's deadly tsunami. The Salvation Army's goal is to build 1,000 homes at a cost of up to $5,000 each.
The Salvation Army has been serving in Southeast Asia for over 125 years and has excellent relationships with local populations, governments and businesses. The Building Homes, Building Hope from Wisconsin program will allow Wisconsinites the opportunity to reach across the world to support those affected by the disaster.
