Choosing Images
Images for your website are available from a wide variety of sources. Before choosing an image, decide what type of image would best fit with the content that you are creating. Would a specific photo of a Salvation Army event be an appropriate? Would a generic stock photo be better suited? A program logo? Or, simply an icon or web-appropriate graphic?
Each of those items are available for free through a number of online resources. Please see below for links to resources for free images:
Red Shield Toolkit - Salvation Army logos, graphics & fact sheets
IconFinder - Free web-ready icons
CreativeMYK - Free graphics and photos from Church-based designers
Photos should always be reflective of the multi-cultural work and mission of the Salvation Army, and have proper permission for web use if taken at one of your events.
