The Salvation Army works every day to make life better for countless people in your community, to truly make a difference. Your gift enables us to meet many needs including serving nutritious meals to older adults, sheltering homeless families, helping men and women overcome addictions, providing after-school tutoring and recreation, and sending inner-city children to summer camp.
Checks can be mailed to the following address:
The Salvation Army, 1215 East Fulton Ave., Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
All gifts are forwarded to their local community based on the zip code of the donor. For example, a gift mailed to Grand Rapids from Traverse City is returned to Traverse City for local programming
NEW PENSION PROTECTION ACT
In October 2008 President Bush signed the Pension Protection Act (PPA), allowing gift IRA charitable rollovers of up to $100,000 in 2008 and 2009. This Act allows you to make a gift to The Salvation Army that will change lives throughout your community.
