The Salvation Army in partnership with the Wisconsin
Tobacco Prevention Poverty Network and the Wisconsin Department of
Health Services is pleased to announce the availability of funds
through its recently established Program Collaboration: Social
Determinants of Health Planning Initiative. This is a unique
opportunity for private, non-profit and public organizations to explore
the root causes of health disparities within the context of health
equity and social determinants. This initiative seeks to promote the
goals of the Wisconsin's health plan, Healthiest Wisconsin 2010 within
the context of theories and concepts of social determinants explored in
the PBS series, Unnatural Causes...is inequality making us sick?
Funding is not limited to tobacco only initiatives.
