For over a century, The Salvation Army has provided shelter for the homeless. The homeless are no longer confined to the alcoholic or skid row derelict. The ranks of the homeless now include females, families and youth. The Army continues to expand its resources to address this growing need.

Transitional Housing

Project Home provides 11, fully furnished transitional apartments for single men and women. Residents must be homeless as defined by HUD. This program provides supportive services and stable housing for a modest monthly fee. Regular meetings with Case Managers provide goal development in areas of money management, health, employment and personal living skills. Residents may stay up to 18 months.

Scattered Site Housing

Subsidized housing, case management, and supportive services are provided for 15 households up to 12 months each. Applicants must be homeless, as defined by HUD, and someone in the household must have a diagnosed disability.
